This is Ellie, one of my Nursery children. The Saturday morning after EFY was the Youth Parade in Downtown Salt Lake. My friend, Ellie's grandma that I visit teach, was in charge of the fire engines and the Queens so she asked me if I would be the excort for the Days of 47 Queen and Attendants so of course I was happy to help. She also wanted some children to ride in the fire truck so of course I had some children to contribute. It was a totally Mormon thing unlike the big parade next weekend. I enjoyed hearing the primary songs and the cute primary children walking the parade route. Enjoy the pictures.

Brett was on this truck too but I don't know where he was. He had been "interviewing" people all over the place that morning. It's his job!

I love it! Gabs wouldn't have worn that hat, waved that flag, and rode that float if I had asked her. What a cute little group!
