David's Fitness Bio

David was asked to create a bio for the Fitness Club to be shown at a company party next month. He is a finalist for "Employee of the Year" and they wanted some short stories with pictures. This is what he came up with. Enjoy.

No matter what I do with my hair, it always ends up looking the same. This little boy was born in 1941 and has loved every single day since.
When he was little he wanted to be either a Cowboy or a Group Fitness Instructor.
Guess what won.
It all started when he joined the Army and became a tank commander and Physical Training instructor. He has been making people do push ups ever since!
He got distracted when he found his true love who has been helpful and supportive of all the push ups required through their 45 year marriage!
The result of this love affair are 5 spectacular children and 11 awesome grandchildren all who are required to do push ups.
The only thing that takes him away from encouraging people to be fit and loving it is riding into the sunset with his sweetie.
So when you’re in his class and he tells you “heavy” just do it and when you’re looking in the mirror at his age, just remember the good ol’ days and Keep on Keepin’ on.

The Good Ol' Days -- How about that hunk I married?

This brings me so much joy!!! I love my Dad! Eliza said, "So, Grandpa Nielson is your Dad? WOW!" Spencer said, "Grandpa is a beast. He has always been a beast." Thanks for posting. I just love this.

Uncle David, you are buff! I loved the pictures. You are a lucky family to have such treasures. Grandpa Nielson did a very good job capturing life in photos. Not many people have that.

Wow! That's all I can say about that last picture. Not just because he's so buff; because he's so buff AND he's helping out around the house! Wow!
And my second favorite is the one of him with a sibling in his plastic pants.
Can we see a similar post about you, Miss Judith? Jay and I would love that.
