It was a great family gathering for Chris' birthday Sunday. I had such a great time partly because all the food was prepared the day before so I could enjoy the day. We had 20 people for dinner and it came off great! In the midst of getting everything on the table I had the inspiration to have Sarah be my photographer! It was a great idea. 
Chris had helpers to open his presents and he also authorized them as the official thank you huggers. He knows how to make a party happen!
Abby had memorized the entire poem of THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. We gathered in the family room and Claudia sat beside her for reassurance but she gave it all from memory. It was great.

I left a comment earlier today and I guess it didn't go through. Well, I said Chris looks like Tom Hanks in the movie Castaway. So hairy! Cheney's wife is so cute and the baby too, of course. Sarah looks amazing in your dress and I LOVE all the pictures! They are great. Good job Miss Sarah!
