Birthday Boy

The birthday celebration began Oct 6 at our traditional Birthday celebrating place, Fudruckers. David turned 69. Wow! One more year until it gets really serious! We had a great time celebrating as usual. Those not in the picture were playing video games. As they say a good time was had by all.

The actual birthday occurred when we were in Atlanta for the Baptism of Eliza. Of course in Atlanta we always make sure to eat at La Parrilla. We had a great meal and then the never to be forgotten celebration. Grampy managed to embarrass all the grandchildren and their parents by taking it to the limit! You know how he loves the latin music? Well it was playing and as we ate the cake then got up to leave the restaurant....the dance began. He danced all the way out the door with this crazy hat on! The children scattered as fast as they could. We thought it would end once we got outside but Nooooo. On it went. It was a show for everyone everywhere. Music and dancing wow. The kids will never get over it. I wonder if they will ever go to La Parrilla with Grampy again. Time will tell.

Picture taken at a calmer moment after the show was over!

Dancing Duo

Like Father Like Daughter! A Happy Dance.

How Great Will Be Your Joy

Does this little girl look happy? This is Eliza Jane with her father, Randy just before her baptism. What a great day it was. Well worth the flight to Atlanta to be part of this day. As in every baptism, this day was full of the Spirit of the Lord. David gave a wonderful talk and the music was divine. Eliza was so excited about everything that the smile never left her little face.  She carried her scriptures everywhere that weekend.

Susie Brown and the Jane Dear Girls

We took a trip to Reno, NV to see our niece perform.  I love the first picture of the car in the parking lot of our hotel. Read the sign and look at the car.
What a fun trip we had with Brent and Sharyn.
First single for The Jane Dear Girls isout. It's a country song called "Wildflowers" which you can see on YouTube or download from I Tunes. We wish them well.  The first pictures of the girls was taken before the show with Brent, Susie, Judith and Danelle.

Baptism

Here are the wonderful family members that attended Abigail Marie's baptism. It was a great day.

Days of '47 Youth Parade

This is Ellie, one of my Nursery children.

The Saturday morning after EFY was the Youth Parade in Downtown Salt Lake. My friend, Ellie's grandma that I visit teach, was in charge of the fire engines and the Queens so she asked me if I would be the excort for the Days of 47 Queen and Attendants so of course I was happy to help. She also wanted some children to ride in the fire truck so of course I had some children to contribute. It was a totally Mormon thing unlike the big parade next weekend. I enjoyed hearing the primary songs and the cute primary children walking the parade route. Enjoy the pictures.
Our group arriving at the starting point.
Brett was on this truck too but I don't know where he was. He had been "interviewing" people all over the place that morning. It's his job!The cute attendants. They were darling and accomplished girls. I rode in their car. It was a Mercedes. My friend, Ja Neane in the red shirt with the couple who is in charge of all the Days of 47 events.
My darling ones!
